It is time for another Warmachine/Hordes Slow Grow League at Mayhem Comics in Des Moines. This league will run from July 18th to Sep 12th on Wednesday Nights. All players are welcomed. This will be a casual league that will focus on learning the rules, having fun, getting to know the factions, and building upon your army in a casual way.
Weeks 1-3 will be 15pt games.
Weeks 4-6 will be 25pt games.
Weeks 7-9 will be 35pt games.
There will be achievements for this league such as power attacks, playing against different facitons, getting armies painting, getting so many games played, and so much more.
The awards for the league will most likely be for who ever has the most achievement points accumulated but most of the awards will be door prizes. We are trying to emphasize having fun and getting to know the game as opposed to winning. This league will also help build the terrain fund as usual.
Entry Fee is $5.00. You can sign up at the front counter at the Des Moines Mayhem (Sign up sheets will be at the shop soon).
Matthew will be helping me with this league because he is planning on applying to be a Press Ganger in the near future. If you have any questions about the league please let me or Matthew know.
